Abstract
Data centers and their related power consumption are starting to dominate the U.S. electricity load. Investigations into their power delivery network are instrumental to developing efficient solutions that allow for the scaling of computation resources, while also minimizing environmental impact. A new converter topology was introduced to meet some of these needs; however, its modeling and control have yet to be explored in depth. This paper seeks to explore the modeling, simulation, and control of such a converter. Preliminary hardware results are also included, which confirm the stability of the proposed converter under dynamic loads.
