Abstract
llinois EPA’s Office of Energy funded ISTC and Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC) (now the EnergySense Resilience Center) to help local municipalities reduce the cost of wastewater treatment. SEDAC and ISTC will provide free energy efficiency assessments to publicly-owned water and wastewater treatment facilities. Similar assessments ordinarily cost municipalities between $6,000 and $12,000.
