Jujuy, a northern Argentina province, is rich in history, languages, and culture. I had to wait for two years since the pandemic started to travel to Jujuy and explore the “energía viva” or vivid energy that this land has. While there, I could hear the voice of the Jujeños (local people), who shared how proud they felt of their Jujeño identity, Spanish dialect, and valuable land and culture. The beautiful energy that this area entails also allowed me to understand how privileged this land is to have Quechua, Guaraní, and other local-language speakers, who make this land rich, vivid, and unique.
