Abstract

Energy harvestor is an urban solution to the raising environmental and economical issues. The harvestor is a sustainable solution to energy generation. It harvests and produces energy more than the conventional system, and its working help reduce the cost of electricity for the general public.The harvestor can be installed in any open site like parking, that does not disrupt the existing function of the site and adds to the functionality of the space.The harvestor not only generates energy most sustainably but also provides public spaces in the form of elevated public plaza influenced by the site and metro line, which in turn attracts people towards knowing about sustainable energy harvesting.The design creates an information center in the form of accessible public decks around the harvestor. The information center provides tourists as well as localities an understanding of the consequences of climatic changes, the ways they can be rectified. One of the detailed information in that would be the functioning and concept that lies behind the “ENERGY HARVESTOR”. The design serves several factors like sustainability, water, ecosystem, community, resources, economy, change, and well-being.
