Abstract
Developing next-generation breathable protective fabrics, using OmpF biomimetic membrane to emulate human skin. In experiment, this membrane demonstrated up to 6.2 times higher water vapor transport rates than commercial breathable fabrics, higher water resistance as well as higher protective capabilities against viruses. Simulated in NAMD-VMD, rendered in Blender 3D.
