This fourth part of the research report on the Broadwells hopes to determine what model(s) the Broadwell family used to build their Clayville Inn. By going to Ohio and New Jersey and studying late 18th and early 19th century inns/farmhouses, the author investigates what the image of a desirable home and inn might have been for a family with a cultural background such as the Broadwells. 29p.
