Abstract
My Research surveyed and observed Parkland students in order to determine if online learning was comparable or preferable to traditional learning. After numerous survey responses, it became clear that online learning is highly lucrative to the busy students of Parkland College. Online learning allows students to work and maintain a positive relationship with their family while seeking a higher education. I also found that online learning was especially helpful to gifted students. Many online classes have accelerated sections that offer a challenge to gifted students that traditional courses cannot. It was also found that online classes were rated as having the same or higher quality of education by Parkland students. While traditional learning should never be replaced, online learning is flexible for the students at Parkland who lead complex lives.
