Abstract
An account of what all was involved in conducting an intensive 25-year field study of small mammal population fluctuations. This was an exhaustive labor-intense study, involving over 1,100 assistants, each of whom contributed invaluably to successful completion of the study. I relate the detail of the information we obtained and the trials and tribulations all of us went through to see it to it completion.
