Abstract
Lastly, the study makes several contributions to future research in the area of children's affect measurement including improving on the already developed Emotional Discomfort Scale (Howe and Silvern (1981)). These improvements as well as the manner in which phase of treatment and level of children's maladjustment need to be considered in future research is discussed.
